Workshop Recap: ThriveBridge Alliance Job Readiness Workshop
On April 12, 2025, ThriveBridge Alliance hosted a powerful Job Readiness Workshop at the Stonecrest Library, providing attendees with essential tools to jumpstart or elevate their careers. This dynamic event offered hands-on support in building core job skills, mastering interview techniques, and crafting standout résumés.
A special highlight of the event was our featured speaker, Mr. Leotis Watson, affectionately known as the Concierge Extraordinaire. With over 38 years in the hospitality industry, including 22 years as the ambassador of guest services at Emory Conference Center Hotel. Mr. Watson inspired attendees with his infectious positivity and his “P.M.A.” philosophy: Positive Mental Attitude. Through his engaging presentation, participants gained insight into delivering service from the heart, leaving a lasting impression in any professional setting, especially during interviews.
Participants also had the unique opportunity to practice mock interviews, refine their resumes with real-time feedback, and explore practical strategies for ongoing professional development. Whether a recent graduate, teenager, mid-career professional, or someone seeking a career shift, every attendee left feeling more confident, equipped, and empowered.
